Castlehill OTB Club Championship 2026-27 Entries Now Open! (Important Update)
Hi Everyone,
First, thank you for all your help, support, and camaraderie over the years during my time as the Castlehill Internal Competition Organiser. I have absolutely loved running these events, but it's time to pass the baton to a new generation.
With that in mind, please join me in giving a warm welcome to Murray Whyte, who is taking over the role! I know you will all give him the same fantastic support and cooperation you've shown me as he settles into the post.
To kick things off under new leadership, entries are officially open for our flagship event: the Castlehill OTB Club Championship!
Here are the key details for this year's tournament:
Tournament: Castlehill OTB Club Championship
Time Control: 90 minutes for all moves (both players)
Closing Date for Entries: Saturday, 18th October 2026

Congratulations to Vladyslav Drabych, the new OTB Castlehill Club Champion 2025-26! That makes it a double this season so far for Vladyslav after winning the OTB Random Knockout!

Round 3: Thurs 25th Mar 27
Round 4: Thurs 13th May 27
Round 5: Thurs 24th June 27
The above are the match nights for all, but if you cannot make that night, you must contact your opponent to find a suitable alternative date, which must be before the deadline date.
Trophies/Medals: Singles Champion, Under 1600 winner & top Junior.
