2022-23 Season
CASTLEHILL ONLINE LAST PERSON STANDING 2022-23
FINAL
Congratulations go to Alisdair McLeod (1531) for becoming the first ever Castlehill “Last Person Standing” Champion! Alisdair beat Tom Wardlaw (1234) in the final to claim the inaugural title 2022-23!
It took four rounds to reach the final, then the final itself, to take the title, so no mean feat by Alisdair! Commiserations to Tom Wardlaw in the final, but again to reach the final was a massive achievement, even more so when you take in his grade! Tom`s result in the semi-final against Andy Rowe (1572), was outstanding!
Thank you to all the players that took part and made this the wonderful and competitive competition it was. Once again, congratulations to Alisdair McLeod on winning the title. Oh, yes, I should say that Alisdair also won the OTB Random Knockout 2022-23, so is the first player to do the double (OTB & ONLINE) with our knockout competitions. That deserves a round of applause!
See you all again in 2023-24!

————————————————————

Congratulations to Tom Wardlaw & Alisdair McLeod for reaching the first ever, “Last Person Standing” online Knockout final!
Tom had a very impressive win against the very experienced and higher graded, Andy Rowe! While Alisdair managed to avoid any potential banana skin moment against the tricky Norman Waugh!

It should be a good final against two players on form and who are both new to our club this season!

Congratulations to Tom Wardlaw, Andy Rowe, Norman Waugh & Alisdair McLeod for reaching the semi-final stages!
