CLUB NIGHT REPORT (Thurs 13th June 19)
It`s the middle of June and we still had twenty players down at the chess club! With a few juniors missing it was easier on the ears tonight, but we still had a few things on!

They waited a while to get this game played and we got a shock result in the end with Alan taking the honours!
Round 2 of the Summer is on Thursday 27th June 19 and this will be the last night for grading results for the season 2018/19. After that all results will be for the new season, 2019/20!

Both players did not have enough time to play the tie-break so will need to arrange another night to find a winner!
JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
With the leader Rishabh Akula missing, it was just the opportunity Ramit Kanodia needed to close the gap and that he did in style only losing one match, but that was to his sister Charvi!
The top four players in the Championship section qualify for the finals night on Thurs 18th July 2019.

Still time for the players in 6th place to reach the top four but they need to put their skates on now!
