CLUB NIGHT REPORT: Thurs 11th Jan 18
Another busy night with 27 players down, 10 of them juniors! The juniors played matches in the new Castlehill Junior Club Championship.
Ramit Kanodia J10 finished top with 4 wins out of 5. His loss was to the only player to win all of his matches Krish Akula J10 with 3 wins out of 3! Haoqi Zhang J6 (Yes 6 years old!) won 1 out of 3, beating Matthew Walsh J10. What a result from a 6 year old! One to watch I think.

Why not join us and see for yourselves!
Results from Tuesday night past
Dundee A 4, Castlehill A 0
Out graded!, out gunned!, out played! Not a lot more to say but well played Dundee A who are looking good to defend their title again!
But our “E” team had a fantastic result to make sure it was not a Dundee whitewash of matches!
Dundee C 1, Castlehill E 3
Graham Atkins (1317) drew on top board against Gordon Robertson (1490), while on board 2 Norman Waugh (1184 also got a very good draw against Alan Woodcock (1380)! With Cameron Wilson (1170est) winning on board 4 (good result Cameron!), and Marten Kats (1170) getting the result of the night winning against the very experienced Raymond Flood (1377), it was alright on the night after all! This result keeps them in the hunt for promotion and also helps fellow club mates, Castlehill D who only drew against Dundee C this season!
